I am Julián Martínez.

I’m a filmmaker focusing on writing-directing. I’m very visual-motivated, and I always want to create bold and surreal films. I have history shot and edited fashion designer protfolios which helps me set my tone working with multi-media. I love stories about growth across genres, to go from not-knowing to knowing, with a dark sense of complexity achieved in the end. I studied nursing and worked as a nurse in hospitals before starting my film career, because of my curiosity about other people’s lives, which was also the reason I decided to make films.

Recently, I finished shooting a 15-min short film and am currently in post production. It’s a drama about a woman finding out her boyfriend's lover and going on a journey of searching.
