For once, I lost my wallet. Twice, I lost my headphones. I lost many sweaters and shirts. I lost every page of my diary in Beijing. I lost half of the knowledge I had learned in medical school. I lost some good friends in time and distance. I lost two bikes. I lost my first I-20 paper for the U.S. visa. I lost a lot of my old social media accounts to unknown passwords and censorship. I lost a drive with my first two short films and decided to let it go. I lost three stories that I loved the most when I was 21. I lost inspiring ideas every day.
